4 months!

Madison had her 4 month check-up and shots! Everything went well but the shots. I can't blame her for not liking those! She now weighs 13 lbs 11oz (50%) and is 25 inches long (75%). I was given the okay to start rice cereal and baby food when we're ready.

Vertical

So I woke up this morning to find Madison had squeezed her way in between the 2 bumpers vertically. She so long that this didn't look comfy. I guess she would have woken if it really bothered her.

Shorts

Yay! It's warming up and we can wear shorts, skirts and dresses! I love it!

Oops!

When you walk out of the room and come back to find this, you now know it's time to use the straps!!

Crib

Well, Madison slept the first 5 weeks in our bedroom and then I moved her into the living room for 11 weeks! Since she hit the 4 month mark, I decided I'd move her into her own room. She did great! She now sleeps from 9-5am and then 5:30-8:30am. I'll be in good shape as soon as I learn to not check the monitor 8 times a night! HA! Her first night in the crib!

First Class

On our flight home from Canada, we got bumped to first class! What a great way to end a trip. As you can tell, Madison enjoyed her ride home!

Banff, Canada- Easter Weekend

For Easter weekend, we went to Banff, Canada. It was the perfect family weekend. The scenery and our hotel were absolutely breathe taking. We spent the weekend driving through the mountains, eating at delicious restaurants, riding a gondola to the top of the mountain (I'm not a fan of this but it was gorgeous when you got to the top), ordering room service, walking down the streets of Banff and shopping. We did see elk Saturday morning which was really cool. I'm looking forward to our trips back in May and June with our family. It will be neat to see how the grass greens up, the snow melts and the lakes unfreeze and turn blue. Madison was such a trooper the entire weekend. She loved riding in the front pack and taking in all the action. John got TONS of attention with a baby on the front. :) I'm sure he didn't mind.

It was hard to choose which pictures to post because I have so many good ones.
