Snuggling with her dad before it's time to go to bed.

Madison puts her arm across her mouth and holds her pj's when she's tired and ready for bed. It's so sweet. Only a mama and daddy would know these traits. :)

John's parenting skills

So, I thought this was too funny! While uploading pictures from my camera, I noticed these 2 of John's FINE parenting skills. If you notice he is in the background on his BLACKBERRY while Madison is destroying my living room. hmmm......... maybe I should have made him clean up the mess. LOL!

In this picture, she has moved on to make a mess somewhere else and he doesn't even notice.

Clapping!

Since we started going to Gymboree in July, Madison has learned clap. She does it all the time, but I've never been able to get it on video. Every time I turn the camera on, she stops performing. Tonight I finally got a small video of it.

Peek-a-boo

Happiness

This little girl brings so much happiness, love, and joy to my life. I treasure every minute with her. I never knew my heart could hold so much love for such a small little person. I'm so proud to be her mommy! Now if I could only put a brick on her head so she'd stop growing so fast!

East Texas

We headed to East Texas this weekend to spend time with John's family. We had such a great time. John was able to finish his new deer stand and get it set in place ready for hunting season. Madison LOVED riding on the 4 wheeler and EZ-Go. I think I ate enough to last me for a month! :) Must hit the gym tomorrow! It's always so nice hanging out in the country and spending time with the family. I hated to see the weekend come to an end.

Sit and clap

Madison learned to sit up about a week ago and learned to clap about a month ago. Yesterday, she decided she'd put both her new tricks together and sit in her crib and clap for 5-10 minutes instead of napping. I was laughing the entire time while watching her on the monitor.

I couldn't help but take a picture of the monitor because it was so funny!
