Is it true?

Well, Wednesday, April 8th I decided to stop by Wal-Mart and purchase a box of pregnancy tests! When I went to check out, the cashier told me my total was $8.97! I bought a box of 2 tests and I thought they were 20 bucks! I was too embarrassed to walk back so I paid and went home. I was sure that when I took these cheap tests it was going to say "Not Pregnant." Well, I took one Wednesday night and it said "Pregnant!" I was in the bathroom in shock. I actually thought it was funny and not true! I decided to not get too excited and I would take the second one Thursday morning. Well, the morning came and sure enough it said "Pregnant" again!! Talk about being excited and not having your husband home to tell! That was hard! Luckily, it was Easter weekend and he flew home Thursday night. On the way home from the airport, I broke the news to him! I think he thought it was a joke until he got home and saw the tests!!! :) On Friday, we decided to stop by CVS and buy the E.P.T. brand (the expensive kind!!) :) We thought maybe the cheap ones didn't work! When we got home Friday afternoon, sure enough the expensive one said "Pregnant" too!!! It seemed so unreal! I will never forget the 2 comments John made to me that weekend. The first was "I sure hope this is true!" and the second was "this might be the most exciting time of my life!" To hear those words made me so excited! Of course, I have to show off my tests!! :)

Lousiana

As most of you know, John has been working on a project in Louisiana since November 2007! It has been a challenge to live in 2 places. As tiring as the past year and a half have been, we've made some great memories. We've meet some amazing people, eaten at fantastic seafood restaurants and dodged multiple hurricanes between Louisiana and Texas!! :) On Saturday, April 4th, John's company had a craw fish boil. We had such a great time. It was nice to finally put some faces with all the co-workers he talks about. Here's a few pictures of the night.

Jason, Maria, John and I

(Jason has been one of the greatest friends to John and I. We've been blessed to have meet such a great friend!)

You can't live in Lousiana for 2 years without a eating some crawfish! :)
