We've moved!

Wow! Talk about a crazy month! What have we been up to this month you ask? Well.......

1. Planning a 2nd birthday party for Madison (turned out great)

2. Christmas shopping which never seems to be done till the last minute. :)

3. We've been building a new house since August and have had our old one on the market since then as well. We had about 25 showings during this time. This was a lot of

stress with a 2 year old. You never knew when you'd be kicked out for a showing and your house always had to be clean.

4. Got an offer on the old house December 8th! PRAISE the

LORD! Talk about last minute and thinking we would be stuck

with two mortgages up till the end.

5. Closed on our new house December 15th! (Madison's actual 2nd Birthday)

6. Spent the days between the 15th and Christmas Eve moving, unpacking, meeting numerous people for installation while also trying to get the old house cleaned and emptied by then too.

7. Enjoyed a FABULOUS Christmas with the family here on

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then spent the 26th and 27th in East Texas with John's family to then race home to

CLOSE on the old house on December 28th! Whew!!!!!

8. Oh, did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant with all this going on? (it was nice because I had an excuse and didn't have to lift anything during the move though :))

That brings us to today!!! Yes, we are officially owners of only 1 house again!! YAY!! We absolutely love the new house. The

space is so awesome!! No street will ever compare to our old

culd-a-sac. Martin Lake Court brought so many unforgettable memories for John and I. It was our first home together for 6.5 years and our first baby was born in that house. It was

extremely difficult to leave the street but we just needed more room for our GROWING family. :) We will definitely be going back for all the holiday parties in the street. We consider

everyone there family and will miss seeing them daily.

What's next for the Stirman's? Well.... I'm using John to the fullest while he's off this week. We plan to get everything else unpacked and pictures hung. Until then no pictures of the

inside will be posted. :) I'm hoping for more down time in January to focus on getting things ready for our little guy's

arrival and spending my last 8 weeks or so with Madison while she's still the only child. Oh, we might attempt potty training Jan. 1 too!! :)

Hope everyone has had a blessed 2011. I know we have!! We are looking forward to 2012 in our new home as a new

FAMILY of 4!!!

Christmas!

Christmas was a lot of fun ! Each year gets more and more exciting as Madison has gotten older and understands a little more year by year. I wasn't the best with taking pictures this year because so much was going on and always forgot to grab the camera. Here are a few.

Madison and Brianne opened 1 gift Christmas Eve and LOVED it! My parent's bought them matching sleeping bags. This was the quietest and calmest they were the entire night. :)

Madison's 2nd Birthday Party!

We had Madison's 2nd birthday party this past weekend. She had such a great time. I can't believe my little girl is already 2!!! Just seems like yesterday she was born. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated her special day with us!

Exciting news!!

I'm so excited to announce that Madison and Baby Luke are going to have a cousin in June!!! My sister-in-law and brother are expecting their first sweet baby!!! YAY!!!!

I can't wait to take these pictures of the 2 of us starting in March when my belly is going back down!! LOL!! haha!
