John's 30th Birthday!!

Well, it looks like I pulled off John's suprise party! As you can see from the video below, he truly looked suprised when he walked in the room. Thank you so much to all our friends and family that made this such a special birthday for John. We are so greatful to have all of you in our lives. It meant a lot that everyone came.

Tielk's shower

My good friend Lindsay is getting married this November. She had a shower on Saturday which was so much fun. It's always great to see and catch up with friends from high school. Has it really almost been 10 years?!?

Jason's 30th

Mom and Leah had a suprise party for Jason's 30th birthday on Saturday night. They actually pulled it off without him knowing. I guess having it 2 weeks before his actual birthday helped! :)

26 update & pic

I had my 26 week visit this morning and everything is still looking good! My doctor did an ultrasound for me to reassure me that it's a girl. I've been buying a ton of pink stuff and just want to double check! Good news- I can keep all the pink!! :) Madison had a hear trate of 139 which is exactly where it needs to be. I also had to give blood to test for gestational diabetes. I should get the results back in a week or so. I did wait to eat a bag of candy corn till after the test!! LOL!! Below are updated pics. I’m up 13lbs in 26 weeks for all those that are dying to know!! :) Can you believe I only 14 weeks left!! Time is flying by!

Birthday Season

This is the time of the year I see a lot of my family! It's birthday season for the Peterson's/Stirman's.

Here's how they go:

Sept. 12th- mine

Sept. 21st-Keith

Sept. 25th-mom

Sept. 28th- Shane

Oct. 2nd-Jason

Oct. 8th- John

I'm the lucky one because I'm first and everyone's excited and has lots of catching up to do. Poor John, by the time his birthday roles around everyone's tired of getting together and eating out. Maybe we should start switching days each year! :)

This year for my birthday, I thought we'd do something besides dinner. We went out for ice cream and putt-putt.

She said, "YES!"

Jason proposed to Leah last night and she said, "YES!" :) I'm so excited and happy for the 2 of them! They make such a beautiful couple!! Jason did such a great job of planning out the entire evening. He even talked to Leah's boss so she was able to have today off work!! What a great guy!! Below is a picture of their new puppy which helped play a role in making last night so special. I'm looking forward to having a sister! It looks like the girls are catching up in the Peterson family!

She's almost here

John and I met my cousins for lunch last Saturday in Louisiana. My cousin Kelli is 38 weeks in this picture and due with a baby girl this Friday!! I can't wait till she gets here!

Sympathy weight

I made the comment of feeling really fat tonight and our roommate in Louisiana decided to cheer me up! He stood up and showed me his pregnant belly. It really worked. I was dying laughing for 5 minutes.

Kristi's Shower

On Saturday, August 29th Kristi's mom, sister, and I had a shower for Kristi. The twins got lots of great stuff and we had a wonderful turn out. I can't wait for their arrival in 6 weeks. That should give me about 9 weeks to practice before Madison arrives! :)
