14 months old!

So fun!

Lindsay and I have been friends since we were born! We are 4 months apart and we now both have little girls that are 8 months apart! We had so much fun growing up together and now we get to watch our girls do the same!! :)

Valentine's Date

Last night John and I went out on a date for Valentine's Day. It's amazing how much you cherish these nights alone together when you have kids. It felt weird to carry a SMALL purse and actually get to enjoy a nice meal. Usually I'm carrying a purse/diaper bag/backpack (all in one) and I'm trying to feed/entertain her while I shovel food in my mouth. :) It was the perfect night out and I highly recommend Damian's Italian Restaurant in Houston! YUM YUM!

Sign language

I started teaching Madison sign language this week. Her first one to learn was "more." She actually caught on pretty quick and I'm having lots of fun teaching and learning these myself. :)_

Super Bowl

We hung out at my brother's house last night for the Super Bowl. Madison had a great time running around, climbing the stairs and being the center of attention!! She was asleep 5 minutes after we left his house. :)

Church

We haven't been going to church since Madison was about 3-4 months old. Those were the days when she slept through the entire service! :) Today I finally decided to take her to the church nursery and she did great. She cried a little when I dropped her off but seemed happy when I went to pick her up. I'm so glad it worked out. It's exciting to know that John and I can start going weekly again! :) Why did I wait so long to do this?

"God knows all about Madison!"

Last weekend, Madison got a new book from her Nana for Valentine's Day. It's called, "God knows all about me." When I read it to her, I change the words to "God knows all about Madison!" She loves to hear her name in books and points to herself every time she hears her name. Here's a small clip of it. It's hard to read and record at the same time but you get the idea.

Ponytail

Getting closer to being able to put this hair in a ponytail!! Now I just need to teach her to sit still so I can make it look neater! :)
