1 month old

Seriously!?! Where did this first month go?

I must say the transition between 1-2 has been great! Madison has done so well and hasn't gotten jealous about sharing my attention at all. She loves to help out with Luke and copies what I do with her babies!! She's such a great big sister!! Luke has been pretty laid back so far. He's only been waking twice during the night since the first day home. He's like clock work. Awake at 1 & 4am to eat. Last night was our first night to make it till 2am. :) Maybe the stretches will start to get longer. I can't complain. It took Madison 6 weeks to get on any schedule at night. My little guy loves to be held and is growing so fast. I definitely love my babies to death and find so much happiness being at home with them all day.

Playgroup Egg Hunt

Our playgroup had an egg hunt for the kids yesterday! They were all too cute looking for eggs. This was Madison's first time since last year she was to young to really get into it. She did great and loved opening them to see what was inside! Holidays are so much fun now that she can participate and get excited! :)

Kroger

This morning we walked to Kroger's for a coffee and a few groceries. I completely forgot about the little grocery carts for kids until we got there. This ended up being a HIT! Madison followed behind Luke and I pushing the mini grocery cart! Every time I put something in her basket she would say, "thank you mom!" She loved it!! However, when we got to the register, I found crackers, candy and a baby doll that I didn't put in the cart! :) I guess she was doing her own shopping when I wasn't looking. haha

So cute!

Madison has been copying me ever since Luke arrived. She feeds, changes and burps her babies all the time now. She even talks to them like I do. It's so cute! This morning on our walk, I caught her burping her baby! heehee!

I'm not sure what I'm most impressed about.... the fact that neither baby cried or that I ran 2 miles pushing them 3 weeks after delivery! :)

Ducks and fish

In the evenings, John and Madison like to go out and look for ducks and fish! It's become part of their evening routine. :) Sure makes it easier for me to cook dinner with only 1 kid to entertain.

Question?

Apparently both my babies like to raise their hand when they sleep. I guess they have a question and think I'm still a teacher! haha!

Our new thing lately is to be outside waiting for John to come home from work in the evenings. Madison runs and meets him halfway down the street saying "let's ride!" She jumps in the truck and pretends to drive them home. It's so cute!
