Happiness

This little girl brings so much happiness, love, and joy to my life. I treasure every minute with her. I never knew my heart could hold so much love for such a small little person. I'm so proud to be her mommy! Now if I could only put a brick on her head so she'd stop growing so fast!

East Texas

We headed to East Texas this weekend to spend time with John's family. We had such a great time. John was able to finish his new deer stand and get it set in place ready for hunting season. Madison LOVED riding on the 4 wheeler and EZ-Go. I think I ate enough to last me for a month! :) Must hit the gym tomorrow! It's always so nice hanging out in the country and spending time with the family. I hated to see the weekend come to an end.

Putting on the roof and securing it in the ground. Looks like John is ready for hunting season. This deer stand is so roomy I think I want to hunt this year. :) Well, maybe after 8am! I'm not big on the 5:30am hunting stuff.

Sit and clap

Madison learned to sit up about a week ago and learned to clap about a month ago. Yesterday, she decided she'd put both her new tricks together and sit in her crib and clap for 5-10 minutes instead of napping. I was laughing the entire time while watching her on the monitor.

I couldn't help but take a picture of the monitor because it was so funny!

Splash 101

I decided I'd try Splash 101 with Madison at Lifetime Fitness. It was a success! She had so much fun she was in bed by 7:30!! It totally wore her out! I know all the moms out there that have more than 1 kid are laughing at me because I won't be this involved with Gymboree, play dates, swim lessons, keeping up with the baby book and taking tons a pictures when I'm on my 2nd child. I guess that's why I'm enjoying every minute of it being just her right now. I love feeling like I have the time to play, teach, love and watch her grow all day long. She truly has my attention almost the entire day and I LOVE IT!

I hope she loves to swim as much as I do one day!

It's amazing once Madison learns something, she does it over and over. She's been sitting up over and over all morning. It's now a piece of cake to her!
